It’s a diagnosis that should never have existed.

    And terribly enough, it does deserve a medical diagnostic code, because it directly impacts how a patient’s condition can be treated.

      It’s a catch-22. To get a Z59.71 diagnosis, you have to see a doctor. But if you don’t have insurance, you’re probably avoiding the doctor.
