Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives on Friday nominated hardliner Jim Jordan for speaker, setting up a vote that will test whether he can surmount the party divisions that led Steve Scalise to abandon his bid.

This guy is a real glutton for punishment

There are holdouts that say they won’t vote for Jordan, not wanting to “reward bad behavior”. I hope they hold

No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
