This was a test shave of an edge created with my Black Shadow stone on my other Puma 89. In yesterday’s hone (of Puma #2) the feel of the Escher stone reminded me of the Black Shadow, so today I explored the similarities of honing feel and of shave feel. This edge was a bit keener than yesterday’s but both shaves were extremely comfortable.

Great shave. Stirling being underrated is a leitmotiv around here, but I was reminded of it. Just solid performance, every time. The warm amber scent of Friends To The End fit the mood perfectly today. Two smooth, silent, and comfortable passes with the big wedge blade, very nice.
