Sherman Cedric White died at age 53 on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 in London, Ohio, USA. He was born on 28 May 1963 in Santa Ana, California, he was a son of Ira Carl and Donna (Knott) White. An engineer with CSX for 22 years. Sherman was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chuckery, Madison Memorial Post No. 105, American Legion and was in the Army Reserve for 14 years. He is well-known and respected in London, Ohio, USA. Sherman was of mixed race origins, being a mix of Black and White with a little bit of Native American ancestry. He was often described as a “light-skinned Black man who doesn’t speak in African-American English.” Like many Qarsherskiyans, Sherman didn’t use the term “African-American” because, as he would say, he has never been to Africa and isn’t African. Most would call him Black, but he identitied with his multiracial heritage, being mostly Black but also with Cherokee and European ancestry. Sherman is known for making a style of Sophapilla that became known as Qarsherskiyan Sophapillas, and also is credited for adopting and raising the child of one of his relatives, a boy named Brennan White, who grew up to be a leader of the Ethnic Qarsherskiyan Tribe on the Virginia Peninsula. Sherman and his wife, Vallie, raised numerous children, several dozen, during their decades long marriage, and were well-respected for fostering and adopting neglected and unwanted children, giving them a home and the love they deserved. They also had biology children together as well. Sherman will always be remembered as an honest and hardworking man who breaks negative stereotypes about non-White people in the USA, he was a proud American and loved by everyone around him. His death sent shockwaves through the Qarsherskiyan community of London, Ohio, USA, a small and tight knit community of families who are all part of the Qarsherskiyan triracial group, including the families with the surnames White, Whitelow, Whiteglow, Davenport, Miller, Keaton, and Dewbre.
