Keiko and O’Brien should’ve just divorced off camera when he came aboard DS9. Alternatively do the kid thing where she goes into a room one episode and never returns

Do people dislike keiko? I kinda liked the chief having a family to come home to after all the hardships he has to go through on a daily basis (at least when she’s not possessed or something)

I don’t dislike Keiko. She didn’t necessarily have no redeeming qualities, but a lack of any qualities. They could’ve done more but it was painfully obvious they didn’t have any ideas for her character. To the point that I feel like it would’ve been better if they just left her out entirely

Oh my fucking WHAT?! I was today years old when I learned that Keiko was Soon Lee Klinger. I blame the difference of 12+ years and Soon Lee’s peasant garb.

In a way, this makes O’Brien and Klinger Eskimo brothers of a sort…

Lol! A lot of famous actors got their start on MASH. Tune in next week when I reveal that Mako, who played the voice of Uncle Iroh in Avatar the last Airbender, played a number of guest roles on MASH (like the Chinese doctor from the wounded prisoner exchange where “Ferret Face” Frank brings a gun to the exchange despite explicit instructions to come unarmed).
