Had to come up with a culinary dish for a class I took so I made a vegan pirukad. Used 🌱sausage with fried onions & garlic and baked in the dough, was excellent tho time consuming but if you spend an afternoon cooking it up and use a bread machine for the dough mixing/rising, it’s pretty worth it.

I love that every culture in the world has a hand pie that looks the same, Persians call them Sambusas, where do Pirukad come from? I can see how the word is probably related to Burek.

Estonia. It was a European cultures class that I chose as one of the world cultures requirement and was pretty interesting overall
