Although, impeachment is largely a political process, and as we saw with Trump, doesn’t mean much other than “a lot of politicians don’t like you”

What I remember seeing is a Republican-led Senate voting not to do their job reviewing the impeachment and just let it die.
Then news outlets + Trump started shouting ACQUITTED.
Now because nothing happened from that, I’m seeing a lot of conservatives claim it’s a political process. But because the Senate chose to take no action, we’ll never know for sure.
