        I think he just scrolled down a bit.

        I don’t think it’s even possible to run win10 on 2gb ram, normal desktop use is painful on 4 in itself and it wouldn’t make sense putting steam on anything with lower than 8gb wam

    Having a similar issue in Linux, except it’s draining my CPU as well as my RAM.

      If its fossilize_replay its doing the necessary shader work on linux and should stop once the shader cache us completed. If not I have no idea

    Before the UI overhaul you were able to disable the WebHelper, significantly decreasing RAM usage. I’m also facing the same issue with the vrdashboard process from SteamVR, which is just a Chromium/Electron instance

    I wish the gui would have a Rust backend rather than being chrome, using Tauri it would require a lot less resources
