Thing like garlic and onions are toxic for dogs, both of which are in pizza sauce

Fortunately, it sounds like the LD50 is pretty high.

Scientific studies have found it takes approximately 15 to 30 grams of garlic per kilogram of body weight to produce harmful changes in a dog’s blood. To put that into perspective, the average clove of supermarket garlic weighs between 3 and 7 grams, so your dog would have to eat a lot to get really sick.

Still best to avoid it if possible, obviously.

There is a lot of space between no effect and getting really sick.

Some mild stomach ache or other kind of discomfort can still be, well, uncomfortable, even if your dog will survive, so don’t feed him shit just because it is not going to kill him.

My dad always bought McDoubles for our pug. I don’t know how the fuck that dog lived to be like twelve before dying. I guess McDoubles are really good for pugs. You probably shouldn’t have fed him McDoubles, dad. Rest in peace to both of you.
