      you can prepare sous vide

But that’s in water. We’re not there yet. Maybe in Florida soon when it first floods and then gets a heat dome.

This one is more like setting the Air Fryer at 50°C.

You set out a container of water and wait for it to heat to 50C

But to be fair, the evaporation will cool it too much for this to work

Honestly, staying in the shade won’t save you at 50c. You’re probably going to die unless you find a solution like digging a hole to hide in.

That Saudi. The plan there seems to be to sell off all the oil, and then have the royal family decamp to a more northern latitude with their harems while the rest of the population cooks to death.

There are ways to make deserts, eh, more livable. Various kinds of mosses, correct usage of water for feeding plants (to reduce sandstorms), and solar farms there occupy territory both not in huge demand and use some of that excess energy.

That’s not what’s happening now, but the technologies have been tried successfully and work. I like shitting on Israel for their moral standing (the opposite to that, I mean), but their approaches to managing deserts do work, and they are not too wasteful with water.

Our overlords assure is everything is normal. Continue consumption. Do not revolt against polluting industries. Stay inside your homes and expire for the economy. This seems to ring true the world over.

I can’t fuckin wait until it gets to that boiling point where we just absolutely trash these wealthy families. Part of me wants that to happen more than us immediately correcting this another way. Fuck those greedy rats.

I’d honestly rather everything get fixed than retribution. If it were a choice between the two.

They won’t need the bunkers, they’ll easily convince the dumbest half of the population that the climate crisis is a result of too many brown, black, and yellow people and that any action taken should be against those people. We’re speeding towards ecofacism.

I figure we’re going to see the first chapter from The Ministry for the Future at some point. This is getting close.

About 1.5 million people did the Hajj. 320 is approximately 0.023% which cannot be used to draw any conclusion.

Then for those who don’t know, many people go to the “Optional” Hajj unregistered, which means they don’t have an indoor place to stay on or use transportation options and have no direct access to food. There are also the one who are old, the one who take their kids with them, and the one who are sick.

Again the islamic ruling is you do the Hajj “if you can” this include if it is during extreme heat you can just stop or never go in the first place.

Great time to be a lawyer who speaks Arabic, possibly a little Nubian and Sa’idi.

EDIT: What exactly are you disagreeing with? These people have an immediate way to punish those responsible for climate change: through legal action.

Bro didn’t hear about the bonesaws

You want to go after those kings, do it with an army, not lawyers.

Like, bro, they’re literally sovereigns! They can ignore lawsuits!

That their royalty are cowards doesn’t stop them from being a sovereign country. Just what, exactly, do you think a lawyer can accomplish? The UN doesn’t announce a global embargo on the lifeblood of modern nations because someone points out they violated a substatute.

For example, Oil and Gas Company Weatherford operates in 75 countries. Al Mansoori also has a wider base of operations. Also, again, if lawyers and journalists are so harmless to the GREAT AND POWERFUL ROYAL OVERLORDS™ then nobody would ever need to be butchered. If a large number of people, say hundreds of affected families, in a class action lawsuit all get butchered at once then even Royalty is going to have a very hard time both domestic and abroad.

If you’re determined to inflict harm yourself for religious reasons, not only do I not care if it kills you, but I’ll mock you afterwards for it.
