Eight months of war have reduced nine-year-old Yunis Jumaa to skin and bone.

Stretched out, semi-unconscious on a hospital bed in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, his twisted frame is hard to look at.

His arms and legs like matchsticks, his knee joints bulging, his chest heaves with the skin stretched tight over his rib cage.

“My son was in excellent health before, he was normal,” says his mother Ghanima Jumaa.

“But when he developed this malnutrition and dehydration, he became as you see him now.”

Yes I did. You know what was working prior to Oct7? Water and sewage systems. You know what was working even better some time before hamas took the water pipes out to make bombs? Water delivery was. Do you think Hamas, as an elected government, is lacking food and water? Do you think hostages are? The answer to that is no. They all take priority over innocent people. They claim they care about them, but in reality leaders sit in penthouses in other country rich as all hell while civilians have to squeeze beetroots for two drops of water. Hamas leader has literally billions of dollars. You know how much bottled water and food that buys? You can scream apartheid as much as you want… the fact is civilians suffer while members of Hamas enjoy themselves.

It’s already linked. If you are asking about the video where Hamas shows how they took the pipes out and are making rockets. If you want some other thing proven, do specify. Also thanks for the down-votes. I don’t give a shit about imaginary points from terrorist apologists.

Israel publicly admitted they shut the water off to Gaza. This has nothing to do with Hamas. Your video contains no evidence of what you are alleging. Only some text and the comments are turned off which is not a great sign for credibility.

The water pipes to Gaza are fully functional and Israel even temporarily turned them on a while ago under international pressure. The other water storage and cleaning infrastructure in Gaza such as the desalination plant has been bombed by Israel. This is proven by satellite imagery in the BBC article.

I never said they didn’t. I said removing pipes didn’t help the situation. Why are you people so bound on to something I never said. Can you read?

You blamed Hamas for this which is clearly not true.

The water pipe case you are talking about is not affecting the current situation. The water pipes are fully functional but Israel shut them off.

Both are to blame as neither Hamas nor Israel benefits from peace. Before you start shouting “bothsidesing!!!” understand that I am not endorsing Israel. And don’t say “Hamas had no choice! They are oppressed and have to fight back”. That argument doesn’t hold water either as Hamas’s express objective is the elimination of the state of Israel. And before you say “Where does it say that???” I’ll ask that you familiarize yourself with the charter. And before you say “Well they don’t mean elimination of all Jews, just the state” I’ll point you to any Arab nation where Jews live freely and comfortably. And on and on we go.
