Russian state prosecutors have called for a 20-year prison sentence for Navalny in an even more restrictive “special regime colony”. Such prisons are normally reserved for Russia’s most dangerous criminals.

Yeah, I saw his name in the headline and thought for sure it was because he’d finally died. Putin is probably scared that killing him at this point will turn him into a martyr and galvanize his base, especially with the disastrous war in Ukraine already help shift public opinion.

Yeah, honestly not sure why he wasn’t found “suicided” having jumped from his apartment rooftop after shooting himself in the back of the head.

Maybe they’re trying to turn him into an example for others to not have hope to win against Putin?

I’m utterly shocked Putin is still alive. He is cramming his peaceful citizens into a meat-grinder in Ukraine while being cartoon-style evil on the world stage. Most Russians are conservatives, so they love this shit. But, many Russians are normal and are furious. He’s checking all the boxes to be a bright red assassination target.

Since he does not play by any rules of engagement, assassinating him should be on the table globally.

I am sure it is on the table and that is kind of what the world probably was hoping for when the Wagner leader came to light. That seemed to have been one of the stranger situations in the entire pointless war.
