RCMP are looking for the driver of an SUV involved in a hit and run that injured teenage girl in East St. Paul last week.
Police responded to a report of the incident on Old River Road in the rural municipality of St. Clements — which includes East St. Paul — at about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to a Monday news release.
Two young teens were on the road — one walking and the other on a scooter — approaching the intersection of Danko Drive when a vehicle that had stopped nearby started to move and struck the girl on the scooter.
Police say the vehicle stopped and the driver rolled down a window, but then left.
The vehicle is described as a black SUV or car with tinted windows.
Anyone with information on the hit and run is asked to call Red River North RCMP at 204-668-8322.
