    You’re very close minded and uncritical about the actual situation in car dependent areas. Do you know what people who actually need a car require? Fewer cars on the roads. And how do you achieve that? Giving the people who don’t actually need cars viable alternatives to driving.

    Yes, most roads around the world are needed, but hellish 12+ lanes highways are not the solution, and nowhere has a need for stroads.

    I can guarantee you that over 95% of people don’t actually need a car, they’re just being significantly catered to and convenienced (until they cry because they caused more traffic and gridlocks), to the detriment of people who cannot afford a car.
