So, I gotta ask: is the moderation team here in any way related to the team at r/worldnews? How similar or divergent are their respective policies? Can we get an official Statement of Intent/Community Policy and a ‘get to know your mods’ sticky or something as just listing a bunch of vague rules that are enforced inconsistently to promote hidden agendas is something I (and I’m sure I’m not alone) would like to avoid.
You can check https://sub.rehab/ - not sure how up-to-date it is, but you can check whether a Lemmy community is a spin-off, or oficial. It does seem this is a spin-off, not official successor.
