According to the report, the targets include an Iranian facility in Tehran or a cyberattack.
In a visit to the Nevatim base on Monday, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said that the Iranian attack which was carried out early Sunday morning will be met with an Israeli response, according to Israeli media.
I’m flabbergasted how media outlets are framing this Iranian attack as though it was completely out of thin air and not a direct response to Israeli escalation in attacking a diplomatic Iranian consulate in Syria.
Israel should’ve taken its win and successful defense and move on. Bibi is fucking nuts.
I’m only not surprised because causality seems to be underreported across the board in this conflict.
It’s kind of the inverse of how little press the October 7th attack got after things started to really go south.
I feel like the media has just treated this as a random string of completely unrelated events.
This is so pervasive a problem right now. In German-language media it’s even worse. I was watching the nightly news about this and it completely left out that Iran said this could be the end and kept referring to the Iranian “attack.” It took about two thirds of the program for them to mention that it was in response to Israel attacking them.
Iran wins this by just sending nightly waves of drones. Ask Ukraine, you just run out of missiles over time, and spend millions to shoot down thousands.
