minus-square@penquin@lemm.eelinkfedilink1•9 months agoI do have 5 cards already, two cars and a mortgage. I just hope that whomever they call will ask for more info beside only the SSN. I have some companies nowadays like Amazon send me a text message for verification.
It actually gives you quite a bit of protection. If you don’t have a open credit they can’t open cards in your name.
