Possibly because it looks confrontational, like attacking someone who is claiming it’s the only place on Earth, even though no one is really saying that?

For me, while “attacks” are bad, “confrontation” is like “constructive criticism”. I believe we need at least some “confrontations” and take those the right way to grow out of mediocrity.
