Wow, so just colonize a sovereign country. I hate HAMAS but there are innocent Palestinians that just want to live their lives.

It’s really no surprise that they’re doing this. I’ve watched settlers straight up take Palestinian homes while the IDF protected and encouraged the settlers.

I guess the real question is why is our government still supporting Israel? Not a single one of us would be happy if Mexicans crossed the border into El Paso, Texas, forcibly kicked you out of your house and then took up residence in it. All under the supervision and approval of the Mexican government.

It seems that Israel has become the monster we saved them from.

The “attack” was a defensive maneuver to stop these settlements that violate international law in the first place.

Like, it’s exactly the same as idiots saying Ukraine started the war because they opposed Russian land grabs. And then trying to say Russia “earned” all the land they could grab by defending themselves.

Fucking Biden is still going to stand by them, he’s really going to fuck around and hand trump the election. And the DNC will still be happy because AIPAC money won’t stop.

        …and here’s some context:

More than 6,000 unarmed demonstrators were shot by military snipers, week after week at the protest sites by the separation fence.

Seriously? A terrorist attack (no military objectives, just random attacks on civilians) is a defensive maneuver against occupation?

You can condemn Israel’s response without white washing a terror attack

If your civilians are randomly attacked and if they resist their ancestorial homes being stolen theyre klled…

That’s not done by the IDF, but sometimes they’re there to help. That’s done by regular citizens of Israel.

What the IDF does on their own is still war crimes, but you’re right it doesn’t justify attacking civilians.

But when these peoples only interaction with people a few miles away is that shit, it’s starts making sense how the victims don’t draw lines between civilians and military. For almost a while century that hasn’t been granted to them. Who the fuck is surprised they’re not still doing it?

You can’t look at this shit in a vacuum…

Try to imagine you’re a Palestinian. On average you’re going to be under 18. Occupation is all you’ve known, all your parents have known, and likely your grandparents as well.

Statistically you’ve known many people abducted or killed by the IDF, and at least some of them you know were completely innocent.

How can you not understand why a minority of them are resorting to this?

What other options do they have? They know they can’t win, but you want them to just lay down and die slowly? Is that what you would have done if you had the misfortune to be born in Gaza?

Lashing out when provoked is not the same as defense.

I was very clear in my first comment. Attacking civilians indiscriminately is a terror attack.

If they instead targeted IDF or even Settlers, you may be able to argue defense against occupying forces. In that sense, you could debate whether guerilla attacks are terror related. But they didn’t, so it’s a moot point.

That is not to say that the violent extremists didn’t have relatable motives. But their actions are categorically terror attacks and not defensive.

What is wrong with Hamas? Doing terrorism to genociders is a good thing. The Holocaust would have been meaningfully less severe if the Jews and French had been able to do more terrorism to the Nazis. You can’t believe the BS the genociders spew, they were going to do all the horrific shit regardless.
