Nothing necessarily wrong with that, but an introduction from our new moderator would have established a bit more credibility before making quick changes like this.

If you’re still wanting to restrict this community to FOSS, do another poll that more accurately and fairly counts votes
I can do another poll if the /c/ wishes me to but for the moment let the /c/ stay like this.

You don’t have to do any of that, I was just pointing out that none of us really know who you are, where you came from, or how you became a mod here. That makes the decisions you’re making for this community more difficult to receive.
If another poll (through StrawPoll or something else more fair) is the only option you’ll consider, I vote for that. I still think a separate community for FOSS Lemmy apps would be best given the results so far, but it’s ultimately up to you
