I’m going to break my own rule and post some games which are always free under the [Always-Free Friday] tag - if the reception is entirely negative then I’ll stop and never do it again! I saw this post in !games@lemmy.world compiling a few always-free/pay-what-you-want roguelikes. Some are on Steam, some Google Play, some itch.io, but at a glance they all look to be indies that you can play for free rather than microtransaction-filled “F2P” gatcha-style stuff. The only one I’ve played before is Vampire Survivors which was quite fun (though I didn’t know that the mobile version is free), anyone else played anything on the list?

      As @omnomed@lemmy.world pointed out it will definitely need to be kept under control, i.e. only posting on Fridays and always using the [Always-Free Friday] tag so you can easily filter them all out if you’re not interested
