First lady Jill Biden defended her son Hunter Biden against an onslaught of attacks from Republicans in an interview that aired Thursday, saying the barrage of allegations against him has been “cruel.”

“I think what they are doing to Hunter is cruel,” the first lady said in an interview with MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski. “And I’m really proud of how Hunter has rebuilt his life after addiction. You know, I love my son and it’s had — it’s hurt my grandchildren. And that’s what I’m so concerned about, that it’s affecting their lives as well.”

The first lady lamented the shift in rhetoric in the country when asked about the constant attacks from Republicans against the Biden family, including from former President Trump, who frequently calls President Biden “incompetent.”

“I mean, to look at it, what we used to have, and what the other side, the extremists have turned this country into. I mean, we would never see things like that, say 10 years ago,” Jill Biden said.

My tin-foil-hat theory is that the cruelty is the point, and their long term goal is to make being a Democrat president such a miserable experience that no one even remotely competent wants anything to do with the job.

According to Trump’s legal defense, Biden could have Trump and the entire Republican Congress assassinated without any repercussions. He could assassinate anyone who would vote to impeach him, and assassinate anyone who would vote for someone who would impeach him, and still be legally in the clear, as I understand it.

Fun Fact: Trump’s lawyers were arguing the exact opposite of the during his Impeachment.

Funner Fact: Despite all the nonsense going on, Donny isn’t actually going to have immunity, and he’s more than likely going to jail, or the US becomes a dictatorship this year.

or the US becomes a dictatorship this year.

You say that like it’s not a thing that can actually happen.

Oh I am well aware that there is a good chance it happens. It’s a shame it’s down to some of the most self serving people on the planet (certain members of the supreme court) if it happens or not.

Just gotta make sure to get a dem majority in Congress too, and then their ability to do stupid bullshit is much more limited
