That’s fair. But other artists aren’t allowed to profit off reproducing other’s works. They also are compensated for their work. Is OpenAI putting money in a trust for when their product gains sentience?

Much of the issue around AI art seems to be more about the prompter (IE: asking explicitly for copyrighted stuff or real people) than the AI itself.
