Hamas had a premeditated plan to use sexual violence as a weapon of war, an Israeli women’s rights campaigner and lawyer has said.

Prof Ruth Halperin-Kaddari said she saw footage of women in several locations whose condition left her in “no doubt” that they had been raped.

Before you upvote the other comment and downvote the article, ask yourself whether your inner monologue begins with “but what about …”

    • It’s also important to ask yourself why you care about violence against women when the victims are Israelis but never when it’s Palestinians or other people of colour.

I care for everyone, but the level of bashing and lashing Israel has received is so enormous that clearly the October events are already forgotten.

Rage is not going to get anything anywhere. You lot could have tried to draw a parallel between the Israeli and Palestinian victims, and based your efforts on top of that.

But you decided to blame everything on Israeli Zionism, dictatorship lmao (everyone has already forgotten the real dictators in Belarus and Africa). That is what I am not liking about all this.

They aren’t forgotten. They are over shadowed. And this attempt to ignore mass murder by a supposedly professional army with a bloody rag is disgusting.

        • Remind me how Israel is the only “democracy” in the Middle East with the political shenanigans that happened in the last couple of years.

lol, so what? Are you thinking they stand out of the crowd somehow? So much shitshow going on everywhere, ranging from horrific to cringe.

“Democracy is the worst form of government – except for all the others that have been tried”.
