I really do not understand why he tried to push a 3 line whip. Even Sunak cannot force the hand of Israel. The UK’s standing in the world is incredibly weak currently. Starmer had his own opinion, he should let other MPs have their own opinion also on such a divisive topic. At the end of the day the vote will achieve absolutely nothing except an outlook appearance.

Where is the UK in a good position in the world. The US don’t want to talk to us, Biden hates Brits. The EU are at the furthest point away they can be. Who exactly do we have strong ties with?

You like to throw crappy replies, but don’t actually add to a conversation. Is there something wrong with you?

No I am saying the statement is very broad. “The US doesn’t want to talk to us, Biden hates Brits” is very broad and covers from “the US doesn’t want a free trade agreement” to “the US has cut off all ties with the UK”. Context matters.

I sincerely hope you understand the irony here.

As I said context matters. One muppet being racist will garner little attention. Stick a bit of Racism in a person like, I dunno, Netanyahu and the whole world takes notice. They are not the same.
