Attendees at a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT event say they had to go to the hospital and the burns are believed to be related to UV light from the video screens.
I’ve been to dark places with UV lighting and about 1 in 10 casually dressed people wear something apparently fluorescent so it’s sometimes possible to detect.
So they basically disinfected their eyes with UV? Ouch.
Yeah, at least it wasn’t a COVID superspreader event.
