This seems like one of those tired things that gets passed around the Internet in the name of “Boo Apple!” I don’t think I’ve heard any Apple products users of any tech background (or none at all) say since the early 2010s. Yet non-users keep parroting it.

minus-square@joneskind@beehaw.orglinkfedilink7•1 year agoIt has been patched in Safari Technology Preview 173. We are currently running 181. Apple released security patches for iOS 15 and iOS 16 yesterday besides iOS 17.1 I’m pretty sure it has been solved already.
