This time we’re looking at the beautiful and bizarre Eucalypts and the creatures that rely on it to survive. Love them or hate them, they’re perfectly adapted to living on this hot, dry continent.
Why would someone hate eucalyptus trees? If you want to hate something hate the invasive willows and blackberries.
It’s written for an international perspective too, perhaps. They hate them because they are weeds over there.
After working urban trees, a lot of Aussies are afraid of them too. Especially old people concerned about the gutters and concrete driveways (the leaves can stain fresh concrete, it’s a true modern tragedy).
