minus-squareLeeonrrdlinkfedilink26•1 year ago@luthis Go back to the tracker you got the file from and re-download the torrent. Make sure your client is pointing to the correct location where the file is stored. [set location, verify local data] and it should just seed it.

Dam, I was hoping there would be an easier way
It is literally that easy.
The torrent client will just see the file in the correct spot on disk and assume it’s downloaded already.
Dude if you are always using the same download folder you just have to start torrent again. It cant be easier unless someone else do it for you
