That’s cool. Someone was asking me here if that was possible earlier and I had no idea. Yet to jump to mastodon. (don’t worry I’m not on Twitter or threads either).
I don’t see the gif in the jerboa app, I’ll check the webui.

The title formatting isn’t great up on apps either, a little better on web.
Also seems to be some issues with comment/upvote propagation across lemmy instances, my reply to your comment only showed up on your home instance “sh.itjust.works” at first, then appeared on others instances after your replied to it. Maybe it just takes a while?
It can take some time to federate to other instances, yeah. Lemmy.world especially seems to have been overloaded with some things really backed up recently. But this is still new and in active development.
Edit: it’s intersting it showed up on my instance first and not the community you posted to.
