The State Department has informed Congress of a planned $8 billion weapons sale to Israel. U.S. officials say some of the weapons could be sent through current U.S. stocks but the majority of the package would take a year or several years to deliver.

I voted but definitely not for Wilders. I know how the American military works, I’ve worked with them many times. Several times they were ready to shoot down their own plane, helo or sink an allied ship. I’d rather have 4 hostile Russian ships withing 5nmi than 1 friendly US ship within 50nmi. Once I singlehandedly prevented a US ship to shoot down their own helo in front of the German coast (so not a war zone), seconds before they were to open fire. The US fought a 20 year war in Afghanistan and lost. Their enemies consisted of primitive religious radicals with over 50 year old kalashnikovs and home made explosives running on old Nokia phones. The US holds the record for the highest blue in blue incidents, during both Iraq wars and the war in Afghanistan.
I’m not that scared of the US. They will destroy themselves. They are are doing a really good job already. I’m just scared of the collateral damage.

That was the initial defense plan, not Flanders by the way, but the bombing of Rotterdam showed those water defense plans were obsolete in the age of airplanes.
