Sanders should have president TWICE now, but he got betrayed by his party… He would have won the election in 2016

    • The tough thing is he would never have won a general election, and the Democrat party knew it. That’s part of why they shafted him. They still shouldn’t have done that though.

Why wouldn’t he have been able to win the general election?

Perhaps I have stars in my eyes, but I think he would have.

        • The man is a Socialist, and most people are afraid of Socialism. Things would need to get really really bad in America for Americans to want such drastic change.

That’s a circular argument. You’re saying he couldn’t be elected, despite his massive popularity, because he’s a socialist?

Now would the purple party put a socialist in power? No. Would the people? Yes.

If Bernie was the candidate in 2016, or even 2024, I in my heart truly believe he would have won.

            • You don’t know what a circular argument is 🤦🏾‍♂️

You’re saying he couldn’t be elected, despite his massive popularity, because he’s a socialist?

Who says he’s that popular outside of the Democratic party?

If Bernie was the candidate in 2016, or even 2024, I in my heart truly believe he would have won.

Aww, that’s cute. Who cares? 😂

Thanks for the down votes. You’re not the kind of person I want to speak with anymore. Have a good day

Yeah the real problem is the incumbent political power structure. Voting is just a garnish after they have already decided everything. It’s a broken system. First past the post voting is crippling US politics
