      There were decades of examples before that of fluoride conspiracies being spouted by kooks and insane people. It’s kind of a trope.

        The opposite, it is a capitalist conspiracy to sell industrial waste to the government to dump in the water supply after companies were massively fined for just dumping said waste into the water ways.

        It has no proven health benefits, but it’s also not really linked to any health concerns at the moment since “safe” levels are just removed by the kidneys without being absorbed or used by the body in any way. Topical applications of fluoride have decent proof that they help, oral ingestion has no evidence whatsoever that it does anything’s in low doses, but it can cause kidney failure and cancer in high doses.
