Donald Trump does not care about expanding NATO. He does not care about the long term NATO plan of expanding Eastward across Europe. That is what makes him different and why voters support him, because they, like him, don’t care about expanding NATO. That is what neoliberal elites want, not the American people. Hatred for Russia and for Russians is not an American issue. That maybe what is important to you, but not for everyday Americans. Joe blew his political capital fast by constantly talking about NATO expansion and the various “national security threats” in the world, which is basically everyone. Americans have seen this before.
