Story mode should be playable, there is a option to disable BattlEye in Rockstar Launcher

    Does installing the Proton BattlEye runtime do anything?

    I don’t play many games that use it, but for Ark you have to install a separate BattlEye.

      No, this runtime only works if the developer enables it on their side.
