When I was a kid I’d just pluck the pubes off the broccoli and eat only those but as I got older I’ve learned to enjoy the whole shaft plus the pubes. Especially when they’ve had some heat and are black.

442·1 month agoThey have literally come very close to launching them when they were losing a few battles during the Yom Kippur war when Golda Meir ordered them readied to be launched. She then extorted Nixon for supplies because if he didn’t agree to airlift in help she’d order them launched.
Like this isn’t crazy talk. They have a known policy under which they will take the entire region with them if they fall.
It’s worth considering and talking about and just because you don’t know basic history surrounding this doesn’t mean others are stupid for considering it a possibility.
So why do you “flat out” think Iran shouldn’t have them but you’re fine with Israel having them? Or hell, anyone for that matter? What makes Iran so incredibly worthy of sending other people’s children to their deaths to stop them? Also will you be willing to go possibly die for this cause yourself?

I’m an anarchist. Flat out, voting is a whole deal for us in general but if I’m gonna vote then you better be damn sure that that person better care about some degree of intersectionality.
So what if we have a workers alliance? How is the representation of black women and the treatment of indigenous queer people and and and?…
I don’t want to be party to any group that excludes based on such things or even worse, is silent while others do horrible things to them. Indifference is so much colder. Watching on as other suffer under the bootheels of oppression simply because they were “only concerned with class”. Ugh.

The original quote, only attributed to “one participant” was, “We can handle one 10,000-person protest, but 10 1,000-person protests throughout the city will overwhelm us.”

3·2 months agoBeen there. Told my genius step-father that his hand-me-down rig (from me) was showing signs of being on its last legs and he didn’t believe me.
Fast forward: it dies.
How do you think he reacted? Yeah.
I looked at him dead in the eyes and said, “if only someone with a lifetimes experience had warned you…” and walked away.
Not my problem. Made him buy a new one.
I’m in the demi sort of space and when I got rid of the “boys” downstairs no one but my partner and mother knew and it remains that way even to this day.
It wasn’t about others it was about my body and how I felt about it. That’s it.
