  • There were other serious problems standing in the way of making them pets. Probably the worst is that they pee everywhere, and the pee is extremely foul smelling, so you can’t keep them in the house, no matter how friendly they might be.

They also don’t make cute or useful sound like a bark, or a purr, they make a really loud, very annoying wail, that gets on the nerves of even the most ardent fox lover.

Even after all these years of breeding, these serious issues remain, keeping them from becoming viable pets for the foreseeable future.

  • Exactly. My wife hasn’t used an actual computer more than a handful of times in the last several years. She does EVERYTHING on her smartphone.

I have never owned a laptop, because my desktop unit is where I do most of my business stuff, and when I’m away from that, my smartphone is good enough.

Of course, the most important thing isn’t that we account for two less computers than a few years ago, but the smartphones that we have replaced laptops with, run Android. So that’s actually a net loss of 4 MS products.

And after all these years, Windows products still make me frustrated and infuriated. You’d think they would have honed it to a perfect product by now, but every few years they completely reconfigure the UI, and make us have to navigate a whole new, buggy system.

I beg to differ. I have seen Democrats like Schumer and Schiff get very angry when a Republican has called them the Democrat Party, and start lecturing about respect, etc., as the Republican sat back with a smug smirk, knowing they got their opponent to wander off the path, instead of discussing the subject that the Republican would like to avoid. Dems take that bait all the time.

Calling them the MAGA Party, and flat out declaring the Republican Party dead, and then treating it as if it is actually dead, would flip the tables on them.

I keep reading posts like yours, disparaging protests, disparaging written dissension, disparaging a progressive agenda, etc. People like you somehow think the voters are going to flock to the Democrats just by doing the same weak strategies that they’ve been losing with for decades. It’s time to go after the MAGA Nazi with every available strategy, including words.

Politics is ALL marketing/ advertising, and the most important thing a product can do is establish a strong, powerful brand. These aren’t “kindergarten word games,” this is a marketing strategy intended to damage their brand.

At their core, MAGAs are cowardly and angry, and easy to manipulate. Needle, harass, hassle, tease, humiliate, embarrass, etc. them at EVERY opportunity, and they will grow angrier, and more frightened when they see their intimidation tactics aren’t working. It shows shallow voters that the MAGAs are pathetic, they aren’t strong, and they aren’t to be feared. It shows that they are blustering losers, not to be respected or obeyed. Combine that with a solid brand building strategy for a popular Democratic agenda, and voters will abandon the pathetic MAGAs, and flock to the Democrats.

Handled correctly, words are powerful tools, and the Pen is mightier than the Sword.

  • I disagree that all federally elected Democratic officials support this.

Whether they personally agree or not isn’t the point. The Democratic PARTY has officially endorsed this theory, and have sent their people out to spread this theory in OFFICIAL messages. It is the official position of the party.

The Democrats should OFFICIALLY declare the Republican Party dead, and only refer to the MAGA Party from now on. Do an actual press conference, and make an official announcement - the Republican Party no longer exists, and has been replaced by the MAGA Party. That will make the traditional Republicans absolutely crazy, and the Dems should keep it up.

Never use the word Republican ever again, refer only to the MAGA, or MAGA Nazi Party. On talk shows, interviews, sound bites, fundraising texts, etc., use the term MAGA Party exclusively. When asked about it, simply say casually and matter-of-factly “The Republican Party is dead, they are the MAGA Party from now on,” and leave it at that. Make the MAGAs cry.

  • Over the last few years, my pirating became minimal, only a few times a year, when I couldn’t find it on streaming.

I find myself going back to pirating recently, for the simple reason that I WANT to screw over these propagandistic megacorps in every way possible. Fuck them, I’m not paying for it, I’m stealing it, and feeling really good about it.

  • Trickle Down Economics was a huge success for the Aristocrats, and a disaster for the working class. Obviously, they want to keep the system that has worked so well for them, but it is unsustainable, and it is coming to an end. They are facing two choices:

Trickle UP Economics, in which more money is given to the workers, who will then spend it, stimulating the economy. Every time this has been tried (such as during Covid), it was wildly successful. The money eventually makes its way into the hands of the Sociopathic Oligarchs and Transnational Corporations anyway, but at least it greases the cogs of the economy on its journey upwards.

That would be the best way to handle the economy for everybody. The workers have more spending power, and the rich get richer. Everybody’s happy.

    OR

Robin Hood Economics, which is “Take from the Rich, and give to the Poor.” This usually follows a brutally violent rebellion in which the wealthy do not prevail. It is usually very uncomfortable for them and their families. The wealthy would rather avoid this one.

Of course, they want to keep on going with the plan that has made them wealthy, but we have to show them that the gravy train has come to an end, and we will not be indulging their hoarding mental illness any longer.
