Can’t wait to watch it, but those of you who already did, share your impressions in the comments!
Seriously don’t open this unless you’ve watched the episode.

I don’t understand why the showrunners hate Loial.

Just watched it and seriously did not expect that.
Spoiler
I was really kind of looking forward to Erith, but I guess they’re more or less cutting the Ogier. I’m not sure though, I wouldn’t put it past them to bring him back, either as I heard from a friend as a hero of the horn since the theme played during his ‘death’, or just as himself through some other means.
With the big spoiler aside I really enjoyed this one as well. Perrin’s return Arc pretty boiled down to bare essentials, but it works. I really like Perrin and Faile onscreen, feels like they have good chemistry.
Spoiler
Curious if/how they’re going to do their wedding. Perrin actually succeeding at giving himself up is interesting. Maybe we’ll get Morgase in judgement sooner than expected, though she doesn’t fit as well since his murder didn’t occur in Andor now. Maybe Perrin’s army is already starting to form up instead of waiting for an age to wrap up that arc.
More or less everything but the one bit spoiler I liked. I’ve seen some people say that Maksim is getting focus because the actor is involved with the showrunner, but he’s a fine character and I don’t particularly mind his importance. If they merge Alanna and Myrelle he will keep coming up to some degree so its good to establish his character.
Spoiler
Really hoping they don’t kill him to sell Alanna’s mental state before she bonds someone against their will.
I like Maksim and how they are handling those two. Unfortunately amazon has only given us 8 episodes so choosing to give them screen time when our core characters have so little still feels off.
It’s wild that there’s only one episode left in the season, it feels like 5-6 more could wrap up the season nicely.
Yep. Maybe if we were doing 1 season per book and had a 2 hour finale coming maybe it could finish book 4 this season. But thats a stretch. With an unknown number of future seasons to get to the last battle its just crazy how little episodes we get.

I’m not sure I like that he succeeded at giving himself up, I was waiting when something will happen that will set him free till the very end. Some of the changes I like, this is one of those that I don’t. But so far the show has been solid, so I’m not giving up on it just yet.
And Maksim is fine, the actor and character is likable. And I actually like Alanna in the show which I definitely don’t in the books.

Same. I really disliked Alanna in the books but in the show she’s pretty awesome. And Maxsim is great too. I really hope they don’t kill him off to make room for a forced bonding.
