The easy answer would be monitoring the number of pitches each throw, and limiting them to a level which minimizes injury, but that would require the owners to actually give a shit about the health of their players more than profits.

Let teams have bigger bullpens. Opener, middle, late middle, setup, closer, every game. Kinda waters everything down, but I’m a dinosaur I guess, and I guess there was something special about watching dudes pitch late into games.
