Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.

      Article 19

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

Again, once we finally ratify ICESCR in the US, people will likely be able to sue your instance operators for violating those Human Rights.

I don’t typicaly shitpost, so I’m not worried about that.

But if an instance operator violated my Human Rights, and my nation allowed me to sue for it, you better believe I would, muthafucka

Already have a great care team, thank you for your concern, though.

I am sorry for not being kind. You are saying some things that aren’t very grounded in reality from my view, and I feel an outside perspective(s) could help

It happens, no one is perfect. Your apology is appreciated.

So, could you provide a specific example of where I don’t seem grounded in reality?

It might help to know that some of my comments are intended to be humorous in nature (“Black MAGA in UFC rings” ought to have been obviously dry humor, from my perspective, for example) whereas others are extremely serious, in particular those referencing UN Human Rights that got downvoted to oblivion.

Do you really wish to sue moderators of an internet forum? It seems outlandish for many reasons. No rights are infringed because this is a private entity, not the government, censoring (moderating)

Plus, the UN text you’re quoting does not ostensibly protect internet comments from moderation either

Generally the concept of suing under UN law in the USA is comical because of our disdain for international law too
