Not to be a downer but wouldn’t releasing all these rhinos mean that the population will eventually be worse off because now instead of them being bred so being a stable population they are going to be released and poached?
The organisation says it plans to release the rhinos into secure, well-managed areas to protect them from poaching and it will work with funding partners, governments and other conservation groups to ensure this happens.
